"10 AMAZING, FUN & INTERESTING Facts About IRAN"?
Wow!
These are just a bunch of SHOCKING LIES about us!
What you wrote about "men who do not marry" was the MOST SHOCKING LIE among all the list!
I had NEVER heard such bullshit here! It's not even an issue! I'm just wondering where did that come from!
These stories about "premature marriage" are all Arabic culture; NOT Iranian! People don't do that here!
"Sighe" is against our national culture! Yes, it IS legal in Iran (becuz it's an Islamic law and our current regime is Islamic), BUT no such thing is in Iranian culture! And it is NOT happening among the people of Iran.
The Green in our flag is NOT the color of "Islam"! It was just a ridiculous claim!
It stands for "Nature and Unity".
(WATCH THIS: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Iran#Colors).
The Flag of Iran:
Green: Nature and Unity – White: Peace – Red: Victory and Power (in new interpretations: Martyrdom).
[In Persian culture, Red also stands for Fire. Fire is a holy and famous sign in Persian culture.]
The story of "chair" and "table" is also super wondering!! Almost all of the families I know since my birth had and have tables and chairs in their house for dining. Do I even have to try to prove that?! I mean seriously?!… 😐
Women are NOT "prohibited from WATCHING sport matches"; they are not allowed to go to the STADIUMS. (This is also a governmental imposed law; it has nothing to do with our culture and beliefs.)
Overall, you must know it is just super wondering that among all the "AMAZING" and "INTERESTING" facts about Iran and its great history and culture, HOW ON EARTH did you get to all that obscene information?
In a word, PROPAGANDA.
And a huge indecent one.
I am iranian and some of this facts are nonsense.
Na-mard is not used for men that are not married and they can live alone whenever they have enough money to buy a house .
And girls can marry whenever thay want to .
Moreover , most iranians use chairs and table to eat … And women can watch any kinds of sports they want .
Men who do not marry are called na – mard, which translates to not – men. They stay with their natal family.
People in Iran do not prefer to have chairs and tables in their house. They sit down on cushions to eat.
na – mard:it has a different meaning(it’s used for the men who bothers women
and nowdays iranian people have table and chair(some families don’t use them)
